A panel of experts from the Urban Land Institute, a Washington, D.C., member-supported research and education organization founded in 1936, was invited by the railyards' stakeholders: the city, the state of New Mexico and the Wheels Museum.

The 12 panelists will be in Albuquerque Feb. 24 -29. They will hold a public presentation of their findings and a Q&A at the National Hispanic Cultural Center on Feb. 29. They will then head back to Washington and prepare a report with recommendations for the site's redevelopment.
